All was going well…Until…!
Chris Brown had finished his community service and his trek with Trey Songz and Tyga, the “Between The Sheets” Tour, was off to a late-by-two-weeks, but good start. But just as things were seemingly going smoothly, two Canadian dates had to be canceled because Canadaian officials wouldn’t grant the singer access into the country.
As a result, yesterday’s (Feb. 24) sold out concert in Montreal at the Bell Centre and tonight’s (Feb 25) sold-out show at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre had to be canceled. The tour’s promoter Live Nation told CBS News that the denial of entry was “due to immigration issues,” and that refunds are available at the point of purchase.
Breezy’s spokesperson, Nicole Perna, said Brown can apply to return at a future date, and he plans to do so this summer. Breezy announced the bad news on Twitter: “The good people of the Canadian government wouldn’t allow me entry. I’ll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!," he wrote before deleting the Tweets.
Meanwhile, Trey Songz was already in Montreal and ready to roll when he heard the news of the cancelation. He tweeted, “Frustration. In Montreal with nothing to do. Bullshit…”
Yet another snag in Breezy's plans…
