Beyonce had social networks buzzing last night (Feb. 10) after making a surprise appearance during Stevie Wonder’s Grammy Tribute concert at the Staples center in L.A.
In true Queen Bey Fashion, she unleashed her powerhouse vocals while singing the Stevie’s hit “Fingertips,” during the opening of the Grammy special, Stevie Wonder: Songs In The Key Of Life – An All-Star GRAMMY Salute, which will air on CBS on Feb. 16. Judging from the below video clip, she didn’t come to play. We’re guessing she didn’t care for any of the negative feedback from her performance at Sunday’s Grammy Awards, and wanted to show out.
The music superstar summoned UK singer-songwriter-musician Ed Sheeran half way through her set to compliment her intense showdown, and we’re thinking it was a dream come true for that guy! They were magical together, and we hope they collaborate in the future. Gary Clark Jr. also joined them for a rendition of Stevie’s “Higher Ground.”
"Respect to Stevie Wonder! I love you," Beyonce writes on Instagram.
Other performances to look forward to on the Grammy special include those from Usher, Chris Martin, John Legend, Ariana Grande, and more.
We can’t wait to watch!
