Police Suspect Foul Play in Case of Bobbi Kristina’s Near-Drowning

The details have been foggy when it comes to the events surrounding Bobbi Kristina’s near drowning last week (Jan 31.), but now they’re beginning to look sketchy.

The correlation of how Bobbi Kristina ended up face down in a bathtub like her mother Whitney Houston almost 3 years ago to the day is eerie, but police are now questioning her boyfriend Nick Gordon regarding injuries on her body sustained before the drowning incident from a violent altercation prior. Sources tell TMZ there’s been a history of violence in the young couple’s relationship. The type of injures have not been publically revealed. According to multiple reports, a criminal investigation is underway.

Gordon and the couple’s friend Max Lomas are believed to be the only other people in the home at the time of her drowning. It was Lomas who discovered Bobbi Kris unconscious and called 911. TMZ claims that Lomas’ account to the police is as follows:

“We're told Max Lomas—the friend who discovered Bobbi Kristina in the tub—arrived at around 9 AM last Saturday. He says he hung out with Nick but did not see Bobbi Kristina. He was told she was in the bedroom. Nick wandered away and Max says he didn't pay attention to his whereabouts.

The cable guy showed sometime after 10 AM and Max says he let him in—Nick was nowhere to be seen. The cable guy said he needed access to the bedroom so Max let him in and discovered Bobbi Kristina in the tub. He screamed for Nick, who ran in and administered CPR.

We're told Max claims Nick allegedly cleaned up the home and removed blood stains.”

Blood stains and a cover up? This is getting worse by the minute.

Meanwhile, Bobbi Kris’ grandmother Cissy Houston visited her granddaughter at Emory University Hospital on Friday (Jan.6). The family matriarch and her two sons Gary Garland and Michael Houston is reported to be next in line to inherit the $20 million is Bobbi Kris doesn’t make it.

Story still developing…
