Music icon Mariah Carey has inked an enormous deal to perform her first Las Vegas residency at Caesar’s Palace. Particulars of the deal are under wraps, but word is the music diva got a huge payday, especially since Britney Spears is grossing $475K per show.
“I ‘m going to do my first ever residency in Vegas at Caesars,” Carey confirmed during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs today (Jan. 15). This is a special event for me, and again, I have to hope that the fans will enjoy this cause I’m gonna be performing, which was kind of inspired by my album Number 1’s, and this is now the updated version with 18 of them.”
Carey’s Caesar’s Palace deal comes on the heels of Celine Dion taking a break to care for family.
