Chris Brown is reportedly taking precautions, not only for himself, but also for his fans after a recent gig at a nightclub left five people shot. The Grammy winning singer-songwriter is said to be axing several upcoming performances over safety concerns.
As previously reported, five people were shot and injured during Brown’s performance at the Fiesta nightclub in San Jose, California on January 11th. According to San Jose police and witnesses, shots rang out around 1:20 AM on Sunday morning.
Following the incident, Brown reportedly called an emergency meeting with his manager and staffers and instructed them to cancel upcoming performances at venues that have a bad reputation for violence.
Brown, who is attempting to rebuild his reputation, is worried that the incident will further damage his image.
This is not the first time someone has been injured at an event hosted by Brown. Music mogul Suge Knight was shot six times during the singer's party in August (2014).
