Jazmine Sullivan chose the perfect song to cover for VIBE’s V Sessions: she sang Whitney Houston's “I Have Nothing” in tandem to her upcoming album Reality Show (out on the 13th) as well as paying tribute to the late vocalist in conjunction with the Lifetime film, Whitney, premiering on January 17th.
“I Have Nothing” (or any Whitney Houston song, for that matter) is notoriously a difficult song to sing, but Jazmine executes the ballad effortlessly, hitting all the power notes and still keeping her raspy vocal style intact.
