It’s a sad day for the sports and entertainment world!
Beloved sports anchor Stuart Scott, 49, passed away this morning (January 4) after succumbing to his battle with cancer, which he has been fighting since 2007.
Scott worked for ESPN since 1993, and he quickly became one of the network’s most well-known SportsCenter anchors. He is also well-known for his catchphrases like “Boo-Yah!” to “As cool as the other side of the pillow” to “He must be the bus driver cuz he was takin’ him to school.”
“When you die, it does not mean you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, & in the manner in which you live” – Stuart Scott
