Amid all the uprising in communities around the nation, “Unity” is definitely what’s needed to embrace change.
Veteran singer Ann Nesby, Grammy nominated saxophonist Gerald Albright, and jazz guitarist newcomer Dee Brown bond together to create awareness around this turbulent time with “Unity Is What We Need,” a throwback record reminiscent of the Civil Rights protests of the 50s and 60s.
“Unity Is What We Need” is the lead single from LG Music Factory’s upcoming 50 song compilation, due spring 2015.
With the recent execution of two NYPD police officers, “Unity Is What We Need” serves as a hearty deviation to help stir conversation about justice and police trust.
