Chris Brown and Trey Songz have not only announced their upcoming tour, they have given us a few clues into what they're planning for each show.
After performing songs like "Loyal" at the tour announcement Monday night, Chris and Trey sat down with Terrence Jenkins (E! News) to discuss the tour and much more.
Planning for a good two hours of music, including performances from special guest Tyga, Chris and Trey plan to give fans not only music from the latest efforts, "X" and "Trigga," but classics from the rest of their discography.
Hit the flip for six highlights from their tour announcement, including songs to expect and what Trey says about Chris being one of the most scrutinized artists in the history of music.
"For me the year 2005 was the year both of us came into the game. It was very special for the both of us because at the beginning of our careers we were on a tour together. And that was actually my first tour," Trey Songz said when asked about how the tour came together. "Ten years later next year (2015). It just feels like the right thing to do."
Talking about their friendship, Chris Brown said "It's just great to be able to go around the world and have an undertanding, because we're from the same area."
"He's my dog. He's probably one of the most heavily scrutinized artists in the history of music thus far. You know everybody makes mistakes… I just let him know, as much as I can, that my nigga I'm here for you regardless of what the world thinks about you," Trey said of Chris.
Chris responded saying Trey is one of very few that he can actually call a friend.
"It's rare to find certain people. It's only about a handful of people I can honestly call my real friends in the industry," said Chris Brown.
"We gotta make sure we do a tour, and a show, that's gonna be long. We gotta make sure we do at least a two hour show so both of us can actually combine all of our hits over the time… We got a lot of hits. It's crazy," Chris Brown said when asked about what we can expect, including songs from previous albums.
"It's amazing just to be able to get on stage and perform. He knows my songs. I know his. It's just dope," Trey Songz said before talking about songs we might expect to hear. "I look forward to performing a lot of songs. I might perform Panty Droppa, Cake, All We Do, Touchin, Lovin', etc. etc."
