Chris Brown's single, "New Flame," surged on the charts over the last week.
Taken from his album, "X," the Usher and Rick Ross featured track moved 2-1 to claim the summit on the R&B/Hip Hop Airplay tally Thursday.
Following previous hits like "Loyal" and "Don't Judge Me," the song rose 29-27 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well and held at no.2 and no.6 respectively on the Hot R&B Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.
"New Flame" is Brown's second Hot 100 top thirty charting single this year. "Loyal," also a chart-topping R&B single, peaked at no.9 on the coveted chart.
