Trey Songz has been one of the last decade’s most dependable R&B recording artists. With six albums in his 10-year career, the Virginia native has well established himself in the game. Over the past few years, he has managed to become a household name and his brand continues to grow after the release of his latest album, Trigga, back in July (2014).
During an interview at The Recording Academy, he assures listeners that after releasing so many hits and albums, his latest opus was the first project that he actually 'loved' due to his hands-on interaction and creative control. The R&B singer/songwriter also mentions his experience collaborating with rapper Nicki Minaj.
Speaking of collaborations, Trey and Chris Brown have a tour coming up that will be 'captivating to their fans'.
“Fans can expect to see us performing a catalog of records, can expect to see the brotherhood that he and I have, the chemistry that he and I have as friends,” explained Trey. “We’ve actually been working on new music as well, just having fun in the studio.”
Songz and Brown announced the joint tour back in August (2014), and on Friday (October 10), they revealed two new collabs that we might hear while on tour.
