Janine And The Mixtape and her Little Mixtapes Records and making big moves after inking a major label deal with Atlantic Records. The first project in their new partnership will see the New Zealand-born singer-songwriter re-issue her debut EP, Dark Mind, on November 4th.
The gifted artist’s new single, "Hold Me (Feat. Pusha T)," which goes on sale tomorrow, October 14th, paves the way for the re-release of Dark Mind. The original track (listen here) is certainly a valuable asset for the multi-instrumentalist, so much so that it was featured on the very popular reality TV series, "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta."
The now Brooklyn-based performer is well known to friends and family as Janine Foster who began performing at open mic nights in her native Auckland when she was only about 14 years old. After developing her own unique blend of pop, indie, R&B, and hip-hop, she was able to build her strong, emotional song-craft, electrifying vocals, and distinctive persona.
