Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" gained some traction on the Billboard Hot 100 this week.
Following confirmation that she will host the MTV Europe Music Awards in November, along with an announcement that she is also performing, the song moved 4-3 on the coveted chart.
"Minaj's "Anaconda" rebounds 4-3 on the Hot 100 (having reached No. 2). It continues to slither up Radio Songs (30-24; 47 million, up 13 percent); holds at No. 2 on Streaming Songs (13.9 million, up 10 percent); and dips 6-7 on Digital Songs (89,000, down 13 percent). The track, which samples Sir Mix-A-Lot's five-week 1992 Hot 100 No. 1 "Baby Got Back," tops Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs for a sixth week each," reports Billboard.
"Anaconda" leads Minaj's anticipated new album, "The Pink Print," which will be released in November.
