Aretha Franklin's new album will be available to music listeners October 21.
Titled "Aretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics" the album will include Franklin's recordings of songs like "Survivor" (Destiny's Child), "Midnight Train To Georgia" (Gladys Knight), "I'm Every Woman" (Whitney Houston/Chaka Khan), and "People" (Barbra Streisand).
"For her to do all these songs, it's very exciting," Clive Davis, who partnered with Franklin on the project, said in statement.
The lead track will be Franklin's reworked version of Adele's breakthrough hit single "Rolling In The Deep," which she will perform on Late Night with David Letterman tonight (Monday).
With production from Babyface and Andre 3000, Franklin's "Great Diva Classics" will also include renditions of "No One" (Alicia Keys) and "I Will Survive" (Gloria Gaynor).
