Faith Evans Confirms ‘Incomparable’ Album For October, Plus New Collaborations

Faith Evans has a release date for her new album, "Incomparable," and a list of new projects she is attached to including music with Keyshia Cole, Karen Clark Sheard, Missy Elliott and Tevin Campbell.

First up is her album, "Incomparable," which is led by the Missy Elliott featured single " I Deserve It."

With the single due out August 26 on iTunes, Evans says the album is slated for a release date of October 28.

"My album Incomparable will be out October 28th, and my new single, “I Deserve It” with Missy [Elliot] and Sharaya J, it’s streaming now and will be on iTunes on August 26th," Evans confirmed with The Jasmine Brand.

In addition to Missy Elliott, Faith Evans has teamed up with Gospel veteran Karen Clark Sheard for two collaborations and has worked on songs for Keyshia Cole's new album, "Point of No Return."

"Yes, Karen is actually on a song on my new album, and I’m on a song on her new album as well. I just did several songs on Keyshia Cole’s new album that I did some vocal production and arrangements, and backgrounds. I’m about to work on Tevin Campbell’s new project, he’s been reaching out to me for a minute. We just wrote a really hot song that Nicci Gilbert recorded so I’m trying to convince her to go ahead and let me do that album!" said Evans.

Faith Evans' last album, "Something About Faith," was released in 2010. That album featured "Can't Stay Away" (with Keyshia Cole) and the single "Gone Already."
