Ray J Enters Not Guilty Pleas For Sexual Battery, Vandalism, and Other Charges

Ray J appeared in court on Tuesday, August 19, where he pleaded not guilty to several charges stemming from an arrest at a luxury hotel in May (2014).

The R&B singer was arrested at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel after he allegedly brushed up against a woman's butt while they were at a bar. Reportedly let go over the incident, he allegedly went nuts by arguing with a staffer and spitting at an officer. He also kicked the window of the police car during the arrest, shattering the glass. Ray explained that he kicked the window because he was claustrophobic.

Following the incident Ray was hit with several misdemeanor charges including sexual battery, vandalism, battery on a police officer, and resisting a peace officer. His next court appearance is scheduled for August 28.

We may see some of this story play out on TV as Ray J will appear on the upcoming premiere season of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood,” which is slated to take flight on September 15.
