Come August 24th, the Queen B will be adding something quite special to her list of accolades. Beyonce will be receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at this year's MTV VMAs.
The honor is beyond fitting seeing that the singer's videos have resonated with many over the years. From the explosive "Crazy In Love" visual to the thought-provoking visual that accompanied "If I Were A Boy," and of course the much parodied "Put A Ring On It," Beyonce's videos always have a way of showcasing how versatile her artistry truly is. The choreography, the storylines, and the creativity certainly speaks to why she is so successful.
This was especially true back in December (2013) when she dropped a surprise album entitled Beyonce that featured 15 audio tracks and 16 corresponding visuals. Once it was released, whether they were part of the BeyHive or not, fans flocked to see what Mrs.Carter had in store.
We suspect that the same will happen on the 24th, because in good ol' Yonce fashion, she will be hitting the stage at the VMAs.
The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards broadcast LIVE from The Forum in Inglewood, CA on Sunday, August 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Beyonce leads the pack this year with eight VMA nominations.
What do you think Beyonce will do to wow us this time Roomies?
