To kick off his EP Drift, Roc Nation’s Elijah Blake releases a combination video for two of the project’s tracks, “6” and “Fallen.”
Directed by Sean Alexander, the clip allows a personal, introspective look into his life. Blake recalls growing up with a religious father whose pious views shaped him into the adult he is now….but maybe not for the better.
Blake tells Billboard, “It’s hard for me to watch the video. I don’t like to watch it. It’s one thing to zone out in the studio and let out all your emotions out,” Blake said. “But when you put it into a visual spectrum and you’re watching it with other people… it’s hard; It’s gets a little too vivid.” Read the full sit-down with Billboard here.
“6” is produced by No I.D. Look out for Drift in September.
