Marsha Ambrosius' new album, "Friends & Lovers," has made its debut on the Billboard charts joining Trey Songz, whose latest album, "Trigga," retains a top 10 spot for a third week.
According to Billboard, Ambrosius' sophomore album, "Friends & Lovers" debuts on the Billboard 200, at no.12, with sales of 16,000 copies.
Featuring a collaboration with Dr. Dre, the album also arrives at no.2 on the R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart.
"Friends & Lovers" falls well below her last album, 'Late Nights & Early Mornings," which debuted with 96,400 copies sold. The album featured the breakthrough hit "Far Away."
In related news, Trey Songz's "Trigga" has earned a third week within the top 10 on the Billboard 200 and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. Moving another 23,000 copies, the album comes in at no.9 on the Billboard 200.
