Beyonce's self-titled album has reached double Platinum status in the U.S.
Reaching the mark within seven months, the news broke via Chart News late last week with sales of the album soaring to 2,003,000 copies.
Featuring songs and singles like "Drunk In Love," "Partition" and "Pretty Hurts," the album has pushed past Beyonce's last album, "4," which spawned hits including "Best Thing I Never Had" and "Who Run The World (Girls)."
Beyonce is currently on tour with her husband, Jay Z. Their "On The Run" tour has already made in stops in cities including Miami, Boston and Philadelphia.
