Jason Derulo's new single, "Wiggle," has charged the Billboard Hot 100, claiming its best week to date in the top five.
Following a recent performance at the CMT Awards and the release of a music video, Derulo's "Wiggle" jumped 10-5 during the charting week, thanks in part to the sale of 146,000 copies.
"Rounding out the Hot 100's top five, Jason Derulo's "Wiggle," featuring Snoop Dogg, charges 10-5 as the chart's top Streaming Gainer. With its official video having been released on May 21, its streaming activity continues to surge, as the song shoots 7-3 on Streaming Songs (8.7 million, up 46 percent). It rises 6-5 on Digital Songs (146,000, up 10 percent) and arrives as the highest new entry, at No. 36, on Radio Songs (36 million, up 38 percent)," reports Billboard.
A major feat, Derulo's success with "Wiggle" is not his only accomplishment on the charts. His contribution to Florida Georgia Line's "This Is How We Roll" remix has earned him another spot on the digital songs chart.
According to Billboard, the new remix, which was performed during last week's CMT Awards, soared 130 percent over the last week.
"Florida Georgia Line's "This Is How We Roll," featuring Luke Bryan, charges 23-7 with 130,000 (up 130 percent). The song is aided by a newly released remix featuring Derulo, which accounts for 55 percent of its sales in the week ending June 8," reports Billboard. "On the CMT Music Awards on June 4, all four of the acts combined (along with ZZ Top) for a show-opening medley, blending ZZ Top's "La Grange," "This Is How We Roll" and Derulo's "Talk Dirty."
Derulo's "Wiggle" is featured on his album, "Talk Dirty."
