Pharrell Among MTV Africa Award 2014 Winners

With Marlon Wayans as host the MTV Africa Awards went well in Durban, South Africa over the weekend.

Featuring performances from Miguel, French Montana and Trey Songz, the show was star-studded with guests including acclaimed actress Lupita Nyong'o.

A total of eighteen awards were handed out, including music and lifestyle categories like Best Male, Best Group and Best International.

The latter, Best International, went to Pharrell Williams, who has had a whirlwind year thus far with hits like "Happy" and "Come Get It Bae."

BET International will air the ceremony June 12.
