Tank and Bobby V To Participate in Live Streamed BET Celebrity Basketball Game

AEG and BET NETWORKS have announced the line-up for the highly anticipated BET Experience Fan Fest events, including the Celebrity Basketball Game sponsored by Sprite.

Slated to take place Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29, 2014, all of the Sprite® Basketball Court initiatives are free for fans as part of the BET Experience Fan Fest and require no registration to attend. Sprite® will be on hand to keep fans refreshed on and off the court.

Talent slated to participate in Saturday’s Sprite® Celebrity Basketball Game includes: Snoop Dogg, Mike Epps, Flex Alexander, Brandon T. Jackson, Jay Ellis, Tank, Cory Hardrict, Bobby V, JB Smoove, Ben Lyons, Tammy “T-Time” Brawner, LaSean McCoy, Cedric Ceballos, Cory Maggette, Terrell Owens and Anthony Lewis.

Hosted by actor, comedian and writer Chris Spencer, the event will feature music by NBA All Star and celebrity DJ Ron “Metta World Peace” Artest.

Teams in the Sprite® Celebrity Basketball Game will be coached by Washington Redskins’ WR DeSean Jackson and New York Knicks power forward Kenyon Martin.

The game will be streamed LIVE on http://www.BET.com.

The afternoon will feature a youth basketball clinic with former NBA Star Cedric Ceballos and WNBA All Stars Nneka Ogwumike and My “T-Time” Brawner. BET will also curate a basketball slam dunk competition showcasing various champions from across the country. This year’s Sprite® Slam Dunk Contest will be judged by 1992 NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion Cedric Ceballos along with Terrence Ross and Nneka Ogwumike and will feature a performance by DLow. The celebrity judges will score dunks based on creativity, crowd interaction and other metrics.
