Jagged Edge is back with a sound they are well known for and fans are welcoming them with open arms. Their new single “Hope,” an optimistic record for women on the brink of giving up on relationships, takes the top spot on Singersroom’s Top 10 Most Streamed Independent Singles of the week (Week ending May 31st). Whether it's the group coming back and/or the soulful vibe of the R&B ballad, it seems fans are happy with the homecoming.
Like Danity Kane, Day26 issued their comeback single in the form of “Bullsh*t,” a harmonic summer groove, which sees members Robert, Brian, Willie, Qwanell, and Michael denying any form of infidelity. “Bullsh*t” is from their much-anticipated upcoming EP, The Return, due June 24.
Kelly Price rounds out the top 3 with her new Ruben Studdard-assisted single “Back 2 Love.” With two great singers on this delightful and heart-warming ballad, it’s no wonder why R&B fans are clicking play.

Tink – Dont Tell Nobody ft. Jeremih
With Timbaland on board, you’ll probably be hearing much more from the Chicago artist, and it begins here, with fellow Chicagoan Jeremih on “Don’t Tell Nobody.” The cut has Tink reprimanding her cheating dude (played by Jeremih), and he doesn’t deny the claims, all he asks is that she doesn’t spill the beans.
Tink – Men
Chicago singer/rapstress Tink collabs with L.A. producer DJ Dahi for Adidas Originals Songs From Scratch for this tune titled “Men,” which has Timbaland’s newest protégé lamenting about the difficulties when trying to connect to the opposite sex (which we women so often do.)
RaVen – Loyal (Remix)
Chris Brown’s hit single "Loyal" gets another female spin off, this time from Chi-Town newcomer RaVen. Like Keyshia Cole and K. Michelle’s (Deez N*ggaz Remix), the singer-songwriter tackles unfaithful dudes.
Joe – Dilemma
R&B veteran Joe follows up his Kelly Rowland-assisted single “Love & Sex (Part 2)” with the brand new single “Dilemma” from his June 23 album, Bridges. The tune has the crooner left to make a tough love decision.
Rochelle Jordan – Lowkey
After suggesting a love prospect to accompany her on “Follow Me,” she speaks to a crush once again on “Lowkey.” With KLSH’s hypnotic production and Jordan's relateable lyrics about stepping out of the friend zone into a relationship, this one's mellow and satisfying, and will hopefully will be on an upcoming project.
Michelle Williams – Say Yes Ft. Beyonce, Kelly Rowland & Solange
She’s prepping her inspirational album Journey To Freedom and in doing so, she gets her sisters-in-song Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, and Solange on this single “Say Yes!,” a reggae-tinged song that has the former Destiny’s Child members praising a higher power and its propensity to be all-accommodating.
Joe – Mary Jane (Remix) Ft. 50 Cent
R&B crooner Joe follows up his Kelly Rowland-assisted single “Love & Sex, Pt. 2,” and the recent leak “Dilemma,” with a remix of his previously released record “Mary Jane.” Lifted from his 2013 album, Doubleback: Evolution of R&B, Joe taps G-Unit boss 50 Cent for the mind-blowing makeover, which samples Rick James’ 1978 hit.
Kelly Price – Back 2 Love Ft. Ruben Studdard
Kelly Price follows up her success and happiness anthem "It’s My Time," with the brand new single "Back 2 Love," featuring Ruben Studdard. On the groovy duet, both singers yearn for comfort in each other’s arms after a tumultuous day, and they do it so delightful with their magical and esteemed deliveries.
Day 26 – Bullsh*t
After announcing their comeback last year, all five members Robert, Brian, Willie, Qwanell, and Michael kick of summer 2014 with the new single “Bullsh*t.”
Jagged Edge – Hope
Multi-platinum quartet Jagged Edge (a.k.a. Brian and Brandon Casey, Richard Wingo and Kyle Norman) is back and giving “Hope” to the ladies who are on the brink of giving up on finding a good man.
“All I wanna do is come up with this little plan, put her hope back in a man,” they tenderly sing.
