For a second consecutive week, Mariah Carey dominates Singersroom's Top 10 Streaming R&B Songs of The Week (week ending May 31st) with songs from her newly released fourteenth studio album, Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse, which was released on May 27th. The fan favorite “Faded” takes the top position, followed by her R. Kelly-assisted cut “Betcha Gon’ Know” at the runner-up spot. “Thirsty,” her latest single with rapper Rich Homie Quan, also charts at no. 6. Now, if that isn’t a demand, we don’t know what is! Although song streams are high for the R&B diva, her album sales have been downgraded several times. Numbers will be revealed this week.
Jagged Edge is back with a sound they are well known for and fans are welcoming them with open arms. Their new single “Hope,” an optimistic record for women on the brink of giving up on relationships, takes the third position this week. Whether it's the group coming back and/or the soulful vibe of the R&B ballad, it seems fans are happy with the homecoming.
Day26 snatches the no. 4 position with their new summer single “Bullsh*t” while Kelly Price rounds out the top 5 with her Ruben Studdard-assisted duet “Back 2 Love.”
