Usher Promises First Tour In Three Years, ‘Good Kisser’ Soars on Charts

It's official. Usher will be hitting the road in support of his eighth studio album.

The "Good Kisser" singer broke the news last week, confirming that he will be touring for the first time in roughly three years.

"I decided to work on a film here, a TV show here, raise kids there,” Usher told Billboard when asked about the lengthy time between tours. “But this next album and tour comes with all of who I am and everything I’ve learned in the process, in addition to me moving and keeping it sexy for the ladies.”

Usher's last tour, the OMG Tour, drew just under $75 million and was named one of the top 25 tours of 2011 by Billboard.

In related news, "Good Kisser," Usher's new single, is rising on the charts.

Debuting at no. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 and no. 18 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart dated May 24, the song has had 13 million impressions at radio according to Billboard and Nielsen BDS.

"Good Kisser" is also up 19-15 on the R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart and holds at no.13 on the R&B Songs chart for the week dated May 31.

Usher's next album, which will be his eighth studio album, is due for release this Fall.
