Eric Benet links up with Korean-American “K-Pop” artist Ailee for the power ballad “Almost Paradise,” a remake of the theme song from the 1984 film Footloose. On the song, the voices of veteran crooner Benet and the 24-year old newcomer Ailee smoothly combine to belt out the heartfelt, 80s love tune.
“Almost Paradise” is from Benet’s upcoming From E to U: Volume 1 album on Warner Music Japan, out on May 28. Benet is also prepping the release of The Other One (an electropop version of his 2012 album The One) featuring production by the Afropeans out on May 19 in European retailers.
