Usher's recent cameo appearance in Chris Brown's "Loyal" music video not only showed that the two have a good friendship, apparently they were also cooking up some new music together. During an appearance on REVOLT Live on Wednesday (May 7th), "The Voice" coach confirmed Brown's presence on his forthcoming album.
“The song that we did together, I think it answers a lot of questions,” Usher told hosts Sibley Scoles and DJ Damage. “There’s a lot mystery I think about a lot of things, and the reality is we all are human… though we may all experience hardship, it’s in those times that people should really rally and remember why you fell in love with the artist, why you fell in love with the person."
Usher also says he has not been in contact with Brown since he was sent to jail, but can’t wait to reconvene with the R&B heartthrob.
He adds: “Actually, we have not been able to talk, but when he first came out of rehab, there was obviously the video that we did, but also a lot of conversation back and forth and he was in a really good place, good positive place,”
Usher’s upcoming album, due this fall, is led by the single “Good Kisser,” which was released on Monday (May 5th).
