August Alsina and Jason Derulo Albums Projected For Solid Debuts

August Alsina is headed for a solid debut on the Billboard charts next week with "Testimony," his debut album.

Projected to sell between 50-60,000 copies within its first week, Alsina's "Make It Home" led album could debut within the top 10 on the Billboard 200 and within the top 5 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart.

News of Alsina's sales projections follows a moving performance of "Make It Home" on BET's presentation of UNCF's An Evening With Stars Sunday night. He also paid a visit to BET's 106 & Park.

In related news, Jason Derulo's new album, "Talk Dirty," is expected to debut a little bit lower on the final tally next week.

Despite the meteoric success of his single, "Talk Dirty," which has been used in promotions for returning seasons of Lifetime and VH1 series, his album is only expected to debut with sales at or around 30-35,000 copies first week.

Official sales figures will be released next week. Both albums are in stores now.
