Kandi's wedding celebration with Todd Tucker will be televised.
Following the ceremony and pre-ceremony events last week, Bravo has confirmed that "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star will have a special on the network in the near future.
The network broke the news Wednesday, also confirming that there will be a seventh season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" later this year.
Kandi's wedding event will air over a several week period covering events leading up to and of course, the actual ceremony.
"You are cordially invited to celebrate the wedding of Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker. Against vocal family opposition that played out dramatically in season six of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kandi and Todd have decided to move forward and tie the knot," reports Bravo. "Each episode follows Kandi and Todd as they plan a larger-than-life “Coming to America” themed wedding ceremony, signifying the couple’s initial introduction in Africa."
With the working title "The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi's Wedding," the special event was produced by True Entertainment with Carlos King, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker serving as executive producers.
