Award winning entertainer Janelle Monae will be taking the stage for a performance on The Today Show later this week.
According to Monae, who promoted the upcoming show via Twitter, she will perform on NBC's morning show this Wednesday, April 9.
"Tune in to the TODAY show on April 9th at 7 am est to watch me perform LIVE!" she tweeted. "I will be your morning coffee! Ha!"
Monae is expected to perform "What Is Love," the new song lifted from the Rio 2 soundtrack.
