Are you ready for G.R.L, the new girl group from Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin? Featured on Pitbull's hit single "Wild Wild Love," the group is gearing up for the release of their first major single and album.

"We'd all been pursuing careers in the industry on our own, individually, but once we found each other, we realized we wanted to do it together. It felt so right. The chemistry was perfect," group member Simone Battle (an "X Factor USA" Top 17 finalist") told PEOPLE during a recent interview.

In addition to Battle, the group includes Paula Van Oppen, Brit-born Lauren Bennett, Natasha Slayton and Canadian Emmalyn Estrada.

Tapping producers Dr. Luke and Max Martin, G.R.L. is currently at work on their debut studio album "Ugly Heart."

Their first single will be released in May.
