After producer Timbaland dropped hints he’s working on a Michael Jackson project last year, and a snippet of the Timbo-revamped song “Slave To The Rhythm” dropped earlier this month, Epic Records has officially announced an upcoming, full-length, posthumous album of material from the late King of Pop called Xscape, set for release on May 13.

Anything surrounding MJ’s music catalog is guarded with thick red tape, so the rumors of this ever happening was taken with a grain of salt, but it seems to be true per an official statement issued by Epic Records:

“XSCAPE is executive produced by Epic Records Chairman and CEO L.A. Reid. After mining by the Estate of Jackson’s archives, Reid was granted unlimited access to the treasures spanning four decades of material on which Jackson had completed his vocals. Reid then teamed up top producers to “contemporize” the songs while retaining Jackson’s essence and integrity, creating the best music you’ve never heard. The list of producers include global hitmakers Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate and John McClain.”

With all the unreleased material, Xscape is reported to feature eight songs (surely to hold out from future releases!)

However, the mystery behind the man STILL follows him after his death: there are some who are skeptical STILL, because the pre-order date for the album begins tomorrow on April 1, or April Fool’s Day.

The news seems pretty legit, but we’ll see! Who’s copping?

Are you ready for some exciting news? Get ready to groove and sing along because a brand new Michael Jackson LP is set to be released in May! Produced by the legendary Timbaland, this album titled ‘Xscape’ is already causing quite a buzz.

However, not everyone is convinced of its authenticity, with some skeptics crying hoax.

In this article, we will delve into the unreleased tracks of the King of Pop himself and explore the controversy surrounding ‘Xscape’. You’ll get an inside look at what to expect from this highly anticipated album and why some people are questioning its legitimacy.

So get your dancing shoes on and prepare to dive into the world of Michael Jackson as we unravel the mystery behind ‘Xscape’.

The Unreleased Tracks of Michael Jackson

You may be intrigued to learn about the unreleased tracks of Michael Jackson, as they offer a glimpse into the artistic genius that was yet to be fully explored by the legendary artist himself. These hidden gems provide a unique opportunity to witness the evolution of his musical style and gain insight into his creative process.

While some may argue that these unreleased tracks should remain unheard, others believe that they are an essential part of Jackson’s legacy and deserve to be shared with the world.

One of the most intriguing aspects of these unreleased tracks is how they showcase Jackson’s ability to experiment with different genres and sounds. From soulful ballads to upbeat pop anthems, his versatility as an artist shines through in each track. It’s fascinating to hear him explore new musical territories and push boundaries, even if these songs were never intended for public consumption.

In addition to offering a glimpse into Jackson’s artistic development, these unreleased tracks also raise questions about what could have been. As fans listen to these hidden treasures, they can’t help but wonder what other masterpieces he may have created had he been given more time. It’s both thrilling and bittersweet to imagine the potential that was lost when he tragically passed away.

Overall, delving into the unreleased tracks of Michael Jackson is like embarking on a musical journey through his untapped potential. While some may argue that these songs should remain buried in obscurity, many fans cherish them as rare glimpses into his genius. Whether you believe they should have stayed hidden or not, there’s no denying their impact on understanding and appreciating one of music history’s greatest icons.

Examining the Authenticity of ‘Xscape

Take a closer look at the authenticity of the highly-anticipated ‘Xscape’ album, produced by Timbaland and featuring the iconic Michael Jackson. As a listener, you may be wondering if these unreleased tracks are truly representative of Jackson’s artistic vision or if they have been altered to fit modern trends. It is important to approach this album with an open mind and understand that posthumous releases often come under scrutiny for their authenticity.

One way to examine the authenticity of ‘Xscape’ is to analyze the production style. Timbaland, known for his innovative beats and contemporary sound, brings a fresh perspective to these unreleased tracks. While some fans argue that this takes away from Jackson’s original essence, others appreciate the modernization and evolution of his music. It’s ultimately up to you as a listener to decide whether this new interpretation aligns with your understanding of Jackson’s artistry.

Another aspect to consider when assessing the authenticity of ‘Xscape’ is the involvement of Michael Jackson himself in its creation. Prior to his passing, it was reported that he had worked on these songs extensively but hadn’t finished them. The team behind ‘Xscape’ claims that they’ve respected Jackson’s original ideas while enhancing them with contemporary production techniques. However, skeptics argue that without Jackson’s direct input, it’s impossible to know for certain how he would’ve wanted these songs to sound.

Examining the authenticity of ‘Xscape’ requires careful consideration and personal judgment as a listener. While some may argue that it deviates from Michael Jackson’s original vision, others find value in its modernized approach. Ultimately, only you can determine whether this album captures the essence and spirit of one of music’s greatest icons or if it falls short in preserving his legacy.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the upcoming LP ‘Xscape,’ produced by Timbaland and featuring unreleased tracks of Michael Jackson, is set to be released in May.

While some skeptics may question the authenticity of these unreleased tracks, fans are eagerly anticipating this posthumous album.

With Timbaland at the helm, there is no doubt that ‘Xscape’ will showcase Jackson’s unique sound and musical genius.

So mark your calendars for May and get ready to experience a new side of the King of Pop with ‘Xscape.’ Don’t miss out on this highly anticipated album that’s sure to leave a lasting impact on music lovers everywhere.
