It’s difficult to go through the red tape when it comes to getting your hands on the King of Pop’s unreleased songs, but it seems Timbaland and L.A. Reid have done just that.
Last summer (2013), Timbo dished to Revolt TV that he and the record exec are coming together for a Michael Jackson project officially sanctioned by MJ's estate. And yesterday for his #TimbalandThursdays series, Timbo unveiled a snippet of an unleased MJ song, "Slave to the Rhythm," backed up by the signature rhythms of Timbo’s of production.
Speaking to Revolt, Timbo said, “To even go bigger would be two kings working together. L.A. Reid came to me, like to my house. I got something big I want to do. I can tell you the first single’s gonna be the song “Chicago”, but I’m gonna set it up right. So, now it’s my time, watch me go”.
No word on when, or even if the project will come out, but get your listen on here.
