Jennifer Hudson Says Third Album is “My Perspective,” Talks Emotional Track “Moan”

Jennifer Hudson will release her third studio album this year, which will follow-up her 2011 effort, I Remember Me.

Judging from the steaminess in the music video to her latest single "I Can't Describe (The Way I Feel)" featuring T.I. and several edgy magazine photo shoots, it seems J.Hud is planning to do something completely different than what we’ve come to expect from her. But not to forget her upbringing, Hudson, who lost her mother, brother, and Nephew in 2008, says this project will also be her "story."

“It's my story – it's me, it's my voice, it's my perspective,” Hudson told UK’s Daily Mirror newspaper. “There's a song called 'Moan' that I wrote, which came from something my mother always used to say, 'If you moan, it makes you better if something hurts.”

Get your mind out the gutter people!

She adds about performing the record: “It will definitely be difficult to perform. Oh my God, it was difficult to record. Because it's so personal, it was really emotional.”

Hudson has already logged studio time with mega-producers Pharrell Williams and Timbaland, with details about the release date coming soon.
