Arianna Grande was one of the special artists tapped by First Lady Michelle Obama to perform during "Women of Soul."
Taking place Thursday, March 6, at The White House, "Women of Soul" featured performances from Grande, Patti LaBelle, Aretha Franklin, Melissa Etheridge, Janelle Monae, Jill Scott, and "The Voice" winner Tessanne Chin.
As far as Grande, she performed a cover of the late Whitney Houston’s "I Have Nothing," and her single "Tattooed Heart."
Before getting into her cover of Houston’s hit, Grande got a chuckle from the audience as she greeted the President and First Lady, "Mr President, Mrs Obama, What’s up? How are ya?"
Adding: "Good to see ya! What’s good, it’s all good?"
Performance-wise, Grande definitely held her own with Houston’s hit.
The event, "Women of Soul: In Performance at the White House," will air April 7 on PBS.
