Former Aventura member Romeo Santos' second solo album is on track to become a record breaker.
According to HDD, Santos' album, "Formula, Vol. 2," is projected to sell up to 95,000 copies first week.
Led by his single "Odio," featuring Drake, the album is full of collaborations that have likely widened Santos' fanbase. In addition to Drake, the album includes collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Carlos Santana.
"If it moves more than 90,000, it would mark mark the biggest sales week for a Latin album since November of 2006, when RBD's "Celestial" debuted with 117,000. "Vol. 2" features guest appearances by the likes of Santana, Nicki Minaj, Marc Anthony, Tego Calderon and Drake," reports Billboard.
Santos' first album, "Formula: Vol.1," moved 62,000 copies during its first week in 2011.
That album went on to reach total sales of 328,000 copies.
As widely reported, Romeo Santos parted ways with Aventura, the popular bachata group, in 2011.
