Has Chris Brown been texting Rihanna? According to a recent report, the infamous couple has been communicating again. This time, with Drake in play (again).
Page Six broke the news early Thursday morning.
"Hide your bottles! Chris Brown has been wooing Rihanna again, at the same time the current Vogue cover girl is rumored to be spending time in Paris with Drake — who is Brown’s nemesis from the bottle-throwing 2012 melee at Soho nightclub W.I.P.," reports Page Six. "Brown — who just completed a 90-day stint in anger management rehab — has been texting the “Diamonds” singer, and friends say they’re “freaking out” that Rihanna could rekindle a romance with Brown. At the same time, the sexy singer performed and partied with Drake in Paris, sparking rumors of a relationship."
“Chris started texting Rihanna on her birthday [Feb. 20], and the two have been sending each other a flurry of texts ever since,” a source told Page Six. “Rihanna didn’t write back right away . . . but later that night she started getting sentimental and texted back, ‘thank you,’ and asked how he was,” our source added. “Since then, the two haven’t stopped texting each other and friends are freaked out that she’s going to start dating him again.”
Another source claims that Rihanna initiated the texts, telling Chris that she missed him.
Responding to these claims, a rep for Chris Brown says he's focused on recovery.
"[Chris] is focused about his recovery. He only wants the best for her and is happy that she found someone," said Brown's rep.
As previously reported, both Chris Brown and Rihanna are at work on new music due for release later this year.
