Sound Off: Will Things Be Different For Chris Brown Following Rehab?

Outside of his dedicated fans and understanding people, Chris Brown has found himself on the sh*t list of many. Since his felony conviction for the beating of Rihanna in 2009, it seems this promising and talented singer has been on a downward spiral…with new incidents continually making headlines.

After being ordered back to rehab in January to complete his 90-day stint, Brown was recently spotted at an event to honor his philanthropic endeavors looking healthy and happy, with reports claiming the Grammy winner has decided to stay in rehab a bit longer. Also, an official release date of May 5th has been set for his long-awaited album X (as it was perpetually delayed due to Brown’s various legal issues). Since his label feels comfortable enough to announce a release date, that’s a definite sign that they feel confident in Brown’s recovery and return to what got him legions of fans…the music. And with his decision to prolong his rehabilitation, it looks like he's serious about putting his focus back on his health and career.

But as you all know, we’ve been through this before: when all seems to be coming on the up and up, Chris catches another case…sometimes it’s when people like to test the waters and nudge him for a confrontation (such as the case of the 24-Hour Fitness incident, an alleged violent car accident, and alleged D.C. fight), and sometimes it’s undeniably all Chris' doing, such as when he attacked his mother’s car when she suggested he stayed in rehab.

So what are your predictions, Roomies? Fans are rooting for him to succeed, but he also has a history of somehow backsliding into trouble again, whether it’s because of people’s allegations or his own bad decisions.

Will things be different for Breezy following his latest rehab stint?
