Producer Kenny Dope hooks up with Raheem DeVaughn and emcee Rhymefest for the empowering track "Final Call (Savior's Day)," just right for Black History Month.
During the almost 10-minute song, Raheem and Rhymefest go in about the foibles of society during the hip-hop/soul first half (like Marvin Gaye’s “Inner City Blues [Make Me Wanna Holler]” for the 2014), while inspirational images of unity grace the screen. The second half slows down to an emotional, soulful ballad in which both the strings and Raheem cry out for a better tomorrow.
