Super duper pop star Taylor Swift shared her stage with the soulful singer-songwriter Emeli Sande during a performance at London's O2 on February 10th.
"Tonight @emelisande surprised our London crowd with 'Next to Me'!! SHE IS SO HEAVENLY," Ms. Swift affectionately tweeted.
Sande responded by saying, "Thank you for inviting me tonight! I’m inspired…what a rush!!”
Hold up! I'm going to let you finish. Yes, Taylor Swift has the pop game in a choke hold, but it seems everyone needs to have a dose of R&B to make it all come together. They said R&B was dying but it looks pretty healthy to us. It is not like Ms. Swft has not let other artists rock the microphone, but to rock out together to "Next to Me" shows that R&B still has a significant place in pop music.
We might just have to keep watching what other R&B artists will grace the "Red" tour.
