Mariah Carey loves her some Christmas! (So much so, she’s recorded two Christmas albums, one of which housed the most successful Christmas song of all time “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”)
Now Mariah and husband Nick Cannon are showing their love for the holiday season in a new way; the power couple is planning on writing a Christmas-themed children’s book with their three-year old twins Morrocan and Monroe in mind. Roc and Roe’s Twelve Days of Christmas will be published through Scholastic this fall (2014) just in time for the holidays. The book will be a picture book illustrated by AG Ford (see work here), and count down the Twelve Days of Christmas through the eyes of Roc and Roe.
Ken Geist, VP and editorial director for Scholastic Press Picture Books, says in a statement, “It’s been such a fun and collaborative process and we are thrilled to be working with Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey on this exciting project. Judging from illustrator A.G. Ford’s past work, this should be really cute!
