Jennifer Holliday’s return to music after 23 years has been long-awaited and much-anticipated. Her album, The Song Is You, will take on standards and lesser-known compositions, but also new tunes such as this one called “Touch”; it’s a classic groove which has Holliday yearning for the caress from a special lover. As expected, Jennifer showcases her powerhouse vocals.
Also, the original Dreamgirl stopped by “The Steve Harvey Show” yesterday (Jan. 16) to chat about her hiatus and battles with depression and multiple sclerosis. She also performed a cover of Etta James’ “At Last” from the album. Check it out!
