Jersey Producer A-Rod’s Work With Fantasia Lands Him Three Grammy Noms

New Jersey producer/singer/songwriter, Al Sherrod "A-Rod" Lambert, received three nominations for the upcoming 2014 Grammy Awards for his work on the Fantasia’s fourth studio album, Side Effects Of You.

Lambert began his writing career in 2010 working alongside Grammy Award winning producer Eric Hudson on actor and singer Jamie Foxx's album, Best Night of My Life. He co-wrote "Sleeping Pill" and "All Said and Done" on the project. From there, Lambert went on to co-write the single “25/8” for R&B superstar Mary J. Blige.

In 2012, Lambert teamed up with English Grammy Award Winning producer Harmony Samuels. He co-wrote the Samuels produced single "Think Like A Man," performed by Jennifer Hudson, featuring Ne-Yo and Rick Ross, for the movie based on a Steve Harvey book "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man."

In 2013, Lambert co-wrote the smash single "The Way" for actress/singer Ariana Grande, featuring Mac Miller. The record was a huge success and reached number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was officially certified Platinum by the RIAA on June 19, 2013, and has currently sold over 2 million copies in the US.

That same year, Lambert began working on Fantasia’s fourth studio album, "Side Effects Of You," which Samuels executive produced. Lambert wrote on six songs, including the single "Without Me," featuring Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott which is nominated for 'R&B Song of the Year'. Lambert is currently nominated for 3 Grammy Awards for his work on the album.

Lambert recently signed an administration deal with Kobalt Music Publishing.
