Grammy winning R&B singer Chris Brown is currently serving 90 days of court ordered rehab, but he will get a little free time from the nest to do some good this weekend.
Brown was granted permission to leave the lockdown facility in California for a few hours on Sunday, so he can host a charity toy drive with girlfriend, Karreuche Tran.
The upcoming event is organized by Brooklyn Projects and Brown's clothing company, Black Pyramid, in an effort to collect unwrapped gifts for underprivileged kids.
As previously reported, a judge overseeing Brown’s probation ordered him to rehab for 90 days after reports of vandalism and temper problems from another facility he had checked into voluntarily.
His probation is currently revoked after the judge ruled that a misdemeanor assault charge relating to a recent fight in Washington, D.C. violated the terms of his freedom. He was not taken into custody because of his good progress in rehab.
Brown is due in a DC court in January (2014) and will have another probation update in February (2014).
