Beyonce Album To Be ‘Monumental,’ PETA Praises Jay Z and Bey For Vegan Diet

Are you ready for Beyonce's album? I for one am tired of hearing about how great it's going to be… I just want it now, but I digress. According to Columbia Records chairman Rob Stringer fans have a lot to look forward to because Bey's fifth album is going to be monumental.

"Then we've got Lea Michele from Glee coming, and we've got Foster the People up next. Then we've got Pharrell and Solange, and obviously, at some point Beyoncé will put a record out, and when she does it will be monumental. So we're in really, really good shape," Stringer shared with Hits Daily Double Monday.

In related news, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is praising Jay Z and Beyonce for their decision to go vegan for 22 days.

"PETA praises Jay Z and Beyoncé for getting animals off their plates for 22 days and hopes that this great spiritual exercise will open their eyes to the suffering of all animals-including the wonderful ones who are killed not for the table but for a coat, a belt, or a bag," a PETA representative confirmed through Yahoo! omg! reports.

As widely reported, Jay Z broke the news via his Life + Times blog, confirming that he and Beyonce began a spiritual cleanse on December 3.

"Psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On December 3rd, one day before my 44th birthday I will embark on a 22 Days challenge to go completely vegan, or as I prefer to call it, plant-based," Jay Z wrote. "There's something spiritual to me about it being on my 44th birthday and the serendipity behind the number of days in this challenge; 22 (2+2=4) coupled with the fact that the challenge ends on Christmas day… It just feels right."

"So you can call it a spiritual and physical cleanse," he added. "I will post my progress… I don't know what happens after Christmas. A semi-vegan, a full plant-based diet? Or just a spiritual and physical challenge? We'll see… Best of luck and health!"
