Can’t get enough of your favorite R&B divas? You’re in luck, because TV One has announced today (Nov. 18) that “R&B Divas: LA” and “R&B Divas: Atlanta” will both return in 2014 for their respective second and third seasons!
As announced by Lil’ Mo, Angie Stone, and Syleena Johnson on the Roland Martin-hosted show “News One Now,” the network will pick up where the two series left off, with “R&B Divas Atlanta” to begin filming season three later this month. Syleena Johnson, Angie Stone, Monifah Carter and Keke Wyatt are confirmed to be returning to put their relatable daily lives on display for viewers.
“The most recent seasons of the Atlanta and Los Angeles series, as well as their post-season reunion specials, enjoyed stellar ratings success in 2013—marking some of our highest-rated telecasts in network history,” said D’Angela Proctor, SVP of Programming and Production for TV One. “The divas are not only wildly talented and celebrated music artists, but relatable women with joys and struggles that resonated strongly with our viewers.”
No word on when production for "R&B Divas: LA" will begin for its second season.
