Tina Turner is ready to “blow this joint” aka claim citizenship in another country.
The music legend took another step in cutting ties with the U.S. recently by filing paperwork with the American Embassy in Bern, Switzerland, to renounce her citizenship.
Turner has been living in Switzerland for the past two decades and she has revealed in the past that she has “no plans” to move back to America.
She became a Swiss citizen back in April (2013), three months before marrying longtime boyfriend Erwin Bach, a European music producer.
