Chris Brown has elected to check into a rehabilitation facility following his arrest and misdemeanor assault charge stemming from a fight in Washington D.C. over the weekend.
In a statement released by his team Tuesday, the "No Air" and "Deuces" singer hopes to gain clarity about his past and recent behaviors in order to live a more productive and healthy life.
"Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility. His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point," read the statement.
