Katy Perry is set to roar atop the Billboard 200 albums chart next week.
"Prism," her third studio album, is projected to debut atop the coveted tally with sales of at or around 275,000 copies.
According to Billboard, if Perry debuts with 275k or higher she will have the strongest sales week, for a female artist, this year.
With the estimated total of 275k, "Prism" will also outsell her last album, "Teenage Dream," which arrived with 192,000 copies sold in 2010. The album went on to sell 2.8 million copies in the U.S.
As previously reported, Perry is preparing for a major performance at the forthcoming MTV Europe Music Awards.
